Zinc/Zinc Alloy Post Finishes

E-Passivate Yellow-Red

E-PASSivate Yellow-Red is a single dip yellow trivalent passivation that offers high salt spray resistance of up to 200-250 hours to white rust per ASTM B-117. No additional top coat is required to obtain this high degree of corrosion resistance. It produces a beautiful yellow bright trivalent passivation to meet automotive and all other industrial standards. Hours to red rust depends upon the thickness of the zinc plate.  It produces a true yellow conversion coating on plated alkaline non-cyanide, cyanide and chloride zinc deposits.
It is simple to control.

Corrosil Plus 501 (BG)

Is a weakly alkaline, aqueous post dip solution used to improve the corrosion resistance of chromate passivated zinc and zinc alloy electrodeposits. By combining Corrosil Plus 501 (BG) with Atotech chromate passivates such as Corrotriblue Extreme or the EcoTriTM passivate, significant improvements in corrosion protection can be achieved. Even if parts are heat- treated for 1 hour at 250o F (120o C), more than 200 hours in neutral salt spray can be reached before zinc corrosion occurs.

Corrotriblue Extreme

The process produces a blue bright protective passivate on electroplated zinc surfaces. Corrotriblue Extreme is provided as a single component liquid concentrate and contains trivalent chromium for easier waste treatment. The Corrotriblue Extreme solution is easy to control and has a long bath life. Corrotriblue Extreme has an excellent tolerance to the drag-in of iron and an inherent ability to eliminate dark discolorations associated with co-deposited iron in the zinc-plate.

CORROSIL Plus Black 600 (BG)

CORROSILTM Plus Black 600 (BG) is a weak alkaline, aqueous post dip sealer solution that consists of silica nano-particles stabilized by various organic additives and corrosion inhibitors. CORROSIL Plus Black 600 (BG) is free of chromic acid on make-up. CORROSIL Plus Black 600 (BG) is easy to use and control and is highly suited to both rack and barrel/basket applications. CORROSIL Plus Black 600 (BG) films are highly corrosion resistant when combined with trivalent chromium films. Even after heat treatment (1 hour at 250o F (120o C) or 24 hours at 250o F (120o C), corrosion protection will be achieved.

EcoTri® SB

Is a chromium(III) containing passivate for zinc nickel which is completely free of chromium(VI)chromic acid. EcoTri SB produces blue passivate layers on zinc nickel surfaces. With EcoTri SB, excellent corrosion resistance can be achieved. EcoTri SB can be used for both rack and barrel plating.

RODIP ZN-389

Is a long-lasting process that produces a uniform, clear blue-bright coating on electroplated zinc surfaces. RODIP Zn-389 contains trivalent chromium for easier waste treatment and is supplied as a single component liquid concentrate. It is particularly effective where equipment limits require extended immersion times. RODIP Zn-389 is effective on cyanide, alkaline non-cyanide, and chloride zinc deposits.

RODIP ZnX

The process produces an iridescent coating on electroplated zinc-nickel, zinc-iron and zinc-ironcobalt surfaces. RODIP ZnX is provided as a single component liquid concentrate and contains trivalent chromium for easier waste treatment. The RODIP ZnX solution is easy to control, has a long bath life, and is not dependent on the conversion of hexavalent to trivalent chrome. It has an excellent tolerance to the drag-in of iron, nickel, cobalt, zinc and tin, and an inherent ability to form strong bonds with subsequent sealers, topcoats, lacquers and paints.

ROGARD Prime ZPD

is a chemical polishing and brightening addition agent for electroplated or mechanically plated zinc on steel. It is used as a pre-immersion step prior to RODIP® chromate coatings or as a final finishing step instead of chromating. ROGARD Prime ZPD improves the finish and appearance of RODIP chromated products and extends chromate bath life. It can be used as a final finish where temporary plant storage of parts and fingerprint resistance are required.

ROGARD SUPREME SEAL 500

is a clear coating used over zinc coated and zinc-plated steel to improve corrosion protection. It offers typical salt spray performance up to 500 hours to red rust. ROGARD SUPREME SEAL 500 contains no volatile organic compounds and is easy to use and control.

Tridur Zn B

is a chrome (III)-containing passivate that can be used in rack as well as barrel plating applications. Tridur Zn B produces blue to yellowish iridescent passive films on zinc. With it, it is possible to achieve very high corrosion resistance. Tridur Zn B is completely free of chrome (VI)/chromic acid.

Tridur™ ZnNi H1

Tridur™ ZnNi H1 is a two component, liquid passivate based upon trivalent chromium. It is completely free of hexavalent chromium.chromic acid. Tridur ZnNi H1 produces an attractive, homogenous black to slightly iridescent passivation film onto electroplated deposits of zinc nickel with an alloy content of 12 - 15% nickel. Tridur ZnNi H1 is suited for rack and barrel plating application. Tridur ZnNi H1 provides a good corrosion protection in combination with the Atotech post-dip or sealer product range.

Tridur™ ZnNi Clear

Tridur™ ZnNi Clear is a Cr (VI)-free, transparent to slightly iridescent coating for zinc nickel surfaces with a Ni content of 12-15%. It can also be used over zinc surfaces by simply changing the operating parameters. Advantages of Tridur ZnNi Clear include: Completely free of Cr(VI), thus easier to waste water treat High corrosion resistance Easily maintained with a long bath life Can be used for both rack and barrel plating Available as a liquid concentrate Forms an excellent barrier layer with subsequent Sealers, Top-Coats, lacquers and paints

Tridur ZN-H2

Tridur™ Zn H2 is a chromium(III) based black passivate for acid zinc deposits and is completely free of chromium(VI). With Tridur Zn H2, it is possible to achieve a high corrosion resistance with the use of our range of sealers or post-dip solutions. Tridur Zn H2 produces black passivation films on zinc deposits from acidic electrolytes. Tridur Zn H2 can be used for rack as well as barrel plating.

Tridur ZN-H1
