Trivalent Chromium Passivates

Chemeon TCP-HF

Chemeon TCP-HF is a chemical conversion coating for aluminum alloys, magnesium, zinc and zinc alloys, as well as a sealer for anodized aluminum. It produces a protective coating on metal, which minimizes corrosion as well as improves adhesion capabilities of the surface. Applications include (but are not limited to): • Sealant for aluminum anodic surfaces • Hexavalent chromium/chromic acid-free passivation on aluminum, zinc, zinc alloys, and magnesium • Excellent bare metal corrosion protection on aluminum that is comparable to hexavalent chromium chemistry • Provides an excellent adhesive surface when used as a pretreatment for paint and powdercoat applications, which results in extended corrosion resistance • Meets MIL-DTL-81706B and MIL-DTL-5541F (revision of MIL-C-5541E) class 1A & class 3 for bare corrosion protection • U.S. Patent Number 6,375,726 (PCT/US 01/45434); 6,511,532 (PCT/US 02/35599); 6,521,029; and 6,527,841 (PCT/US 02/35490)

Chemeon eTCP RTU

A patented ROHS, REACH, WEEE, ELV and OSHA PEL compliant enhanced chromium (III) conversion coating used for immersion, brush, and spray applications. CHEMEON eTCP RTU is ready to use. The resultant conversion coating has a noticeable blue to purple
color which provides visual verification that the coating has been applied. Corrosion resistance is improved as compared to conventional trivalent chromate pretreatments. Approved and QPL-81706 listed for MIL-DTL-81706 and MIL-DTL-5541 Type II, Form III, Class 1A and
Class 3, Methods A, B, and C (Reference NAWC-AD Report 2020PX00001).

Chemeon TCP-HF EPA

CHEMEON TCP-HF EPA is a liquid additive to be used with CHEMEON TCP-HF trivalent chromium conversion coating baths. CHEMEON TCP-HF EPA provides enhanced corrosion protection to treated substrates and allows for more flexible pre-treatment process parameters. CHEMEON TCP-HF EPA has full QPL approval to the MIL-81706B specification and helps in achieving the required results. CHEMEON
TCP-HF also meets the MIL-DTL-5541 specification and excels on difficult to treat alloys such as the 2xxx and 7xxx series.
