Zintek 300 B

Zintek 300 B is an inorganic coating material (base coat) for dip/spin, spin coat, dip/drain and spray application on fasteners like bolts, screws, nuts, springs, clamps, stampings etc. Zintek 300 B reaches corrosion protection of 720 hours in salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227 or ASTM B 117 without base metal corrosion, depending on the base coat or plated layer. Zintek 300 B achieves optimum results on top of thin layer phosphated or shot blasted material at a coating thickness between 5 and 15 microns. The coating does not produce hydrogen embrittlement through the application

 

Zintek 400

Zintek 400 is a special coating with corrosion protection particularly for bigger parts where high baking temperatures are not possible. A thickness of 15 to 50 µm is sufficient to withstand 240 – 1000 hours salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227 or ASTM B 117 without red rust. Zintek 400 is used for spray application of dry treated or shot blasted parts. Spray guns as well as electrostatic spray guns can be used. Zintek 400 has a special binder which already cross-links at low temperatures. Drying can be made at the air or at moderate temperatures from 75 to 160 °C. Zintek 400 can be used alone or mixed with the air drying cross-linker Zintek CL which helps to polymerize at lower temperatures. Zintek CL achieves harder films, higher gloss and high resistance against seawater, lubricants and chemicals. Zintek 400 has a cross-linking time with Zintek CL of about 8 – 24 hours depending on the coating thickness and room temperature. After 8-24 hours the coating is completely hardened. After 2-8 hours the coating is already dry to touch. Zintek 400 can be applied at 30 to 90 % humidity.

 

Zintek Top

Zintek Top is a water dilutable, inorganic silicate based top coat. Zintek Top is chromium and solvent free. Zintek Top reacts with our Zintek products and is mainly used for dip/spin application on fasteners like bolts, screws, nuts, springs, clamps, stampings etc. Zintek Top can reach corrosion protection of more than 1,000 hours in salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227 or ASTM B 117 without base metal corrosion depending on the base coat. Zintek Top achieves optimum results at a coating thickness between 0.5 and 3 microns.

 

Zintek Top L

Zintek Top L is a water dilutable, inorganic, silicate based top coat system with integrated lubricant for friction adjustment. Zintek Top L has a coefficient of friction of 0.10 – 0.16 µ tot. Zintek Top L is chromium and solvent free. Zintek Top L reacts with our Zintek products and is mainly used for dip/spin application on fasteners like bolts, screws, nuts, springs, clamps, stampings etc. Zintek Top L can reach corrosion protection of more than 1,000 hours in salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227 or ASTM B 117 without base metal corrosion depending on the base coat. Zintek Top L achieves optimum results at a coating thickness between 0.5 and 3 microns.
